Who This Covers

This policy explains how Serenity of Body and Mind, LLC ("Serenity," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit this website, book a consultation, sign a Client Services Agreement, or use the Serenity wellness app. By using our website, app, or coaching services, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

What we collect depends on how you interact with us:

• ✦ Account information — name, email address, and password when you create a Serenity app account.
• ✦ Agreement records — your typed signature, the agreement version, and the date/time you signed the Client Services Agreement.
• ✦ Wellness data you choose to log — daily journal entries, sleep, water intake, movement, food diary, medications, gratitude notes, and quiz results (learning style and motivation quizzes) you enter in the app.
• ✦ Goals — your primary goal, motivation, and daily targets you set in the app.
• ✦ Messages — in-app messages exchanged between you and your coach.
• ✦ Contact form submissions — name, email, phone, and message content if you use our contact form.
• ✦ Usage data — aggregated, anonymized visit data collected via website and app analytics (page views, general traffic patterns). We don't use this to identify you individually.

We do not collect payment card information directly — program payments are handled by Stripe, which has its own privacy practices.

How We Use Your Information

• ✦ To provide coaching services and operate the Serenity app
• ✦ To personalize coaching around your goals, learning style, and progress
• ✦ To communicate with you — session scheduling, in-app messages, account and billing notices, and a copy of your signed agreement
• ✦ To maintain and improve the security and reliability of our website and app

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your wellness data for advertising.

Your Privacy Controls in the App

The Serenity app includes privacy settings that let you control what your coach can see: habit tracking, journal entries, food diary, and medications can each be shared or hidden independently, and you can disable coach access to your data entirely at any time. Turning a category off stops your coach from seeing that data going forward — it doesn't delete what's already logged.

Who We Share Information With

We don't sell or rent your information. We share it only as needed to run our practice and the app:

• ✦ Supabase — hosts our database and handles secure account authentication.
• ✦ Resend — sends transactional emails, such as your signed agreement copy.
• ✦ Vercel — hosts our website and app, and provides anonymized traffic analytics.
• ✦ Stripe — processes program payments; we don't see or store your card details.
• ✦ Formspree — delivers contact form submissions to us by email.

We may also disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of a client or others — consistent with the confidentiality terms in our Client Services Agreement.

Data Retention

We keep your app data for as long as your account is active. Following the end of active coaching, your data remains accessible per the access terms in your Client Services Agreement (a grace period, followed by permanent view-only access unless you subscribe or request deletion). You can request deletion of your account and data at any time by contacting us.

Your Rights & Choices

• ✦ Access & export — download your wellness data at any time from within the app.
• ✦ Correction — update your account details in the app, or ask us to correct anything on your behalf.
• ✦ Deletion — request that we delete your account and associated data by emailing us.

Security

We use reasonable technical and administrative safeguards — including encrypted connections and access controls on our database — to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Cookies & Local Storage

The Serenity app uses browser local storage to keep you securely signed in between visits. Our website and app use Vercel Web Analytics, which collects anonymized, aggregated visit data and does not use cookies to track you individually across other sites.

Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for adults 18 and older and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our practices or services change. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and for significant changes, we'll let active clients know directly.
